Personal Lines Sales Executive

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Personal Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the field of personal insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to effectively cold call and generate leads. As a Personal Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. 1. Sales Strategy and Prospecting:

  • Document all interactions, lead progress, and sales activities in the CRM system accurately.
  1. 5. Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to create customized insurance proposals that meet client needs.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and upcoming opportunities to sales management.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven success in personal insurance sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in cold calling and lead generation.
  • In-depth knowledge of various personal insurance products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Personal Lines Marketing Account Manager

The Personal Lines Marketing Account Manager is responsible for remarketing clients within the Personal Lines Department. The candidate will be expected to provide timely, professional service and the ability to counsel clients is a must.  Responsibilities include working within an established time frame, manage all aspects of the placement of business, make recommendations to clients to enhance policy contracts and seek cross sell opportunities, prepare proposals, consult underwriters, and follows up through delivery of policy documents to clients. Opportunity to earn 20% finders fees on cross sold or referred accounts

The candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in the Personal Insurance industry, strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building skills with clients and co-workers, ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. CT Property and Casualty license required. Continuing professional development is strongly encouraged, which the agency pays for, and professional designations are a plus.Professional industry designations such as CPCU and CIC are also a plus. Personal Lines Account Manager – POSITION FILLED

Personal Lines Account Manager would be in assigned a book of business within our current customer base.

The responsibility include reviewing New business policies, confirming the coverage received is as quoted and welcoming the new client to our agency. Processing annual renewals, endorsements, reinstatements and cancellations.  Daily customer service needs, including billing inquiries, mortgage updates, vehicle changes, and coverage inquiries. Corresponding between the carrier and client’s insurance needs, familiarizing oneself with the various carrier websites. Writing new business for umbrellas, watercraft and antique vehicles. Work closely with the Personal Lines remarketing team assuring the account is able to transfer to a new carrier. Also working with the Personal Lines producers.

Applicant must hold a current P & C license, pursuing continuing education as mandated by the CT Insurance Department. Continuing professional development is strongly encouraged, which the agency pays for. Professional designations are a plus. Applicant must have strong technical skills with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook and experience with internal Management systems is a plus.

Business Insurance Sales Assistant – POSTION FILLED

Our agency is growing, and we’re searching for a detail-oriented and personable insurance assistant to keep us organized! Your main responsibility will be supporting our agents so that they can focus on selling. Duties would include

  • inputting the Acord application info into our management system along with notes from the producer/client meetings
  • obtaining loss runs, prior declaration pages and supplemental applications
  • preparing checklists and applications for client to sign
  • assisting with binding coverage by updating info in management system and assisting in collecting EFT forms and helping to establish billing
  • printing and putting full polices into binders or assisting in emailing documents back to client
  • acting as liaison between prospect and producer during marketing/binding phases
  • being part of the transition team with handing over the account to the account manager

Qualifications

Duties include, but are not limited to, processing new and renewal commercial policies; ensuring coverages are correct and appropriate for customer needs, advising clients on available coverages for risks and rounding accounts, providing Sales Executives with information and documentation to support sales, processing endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, evidences of insurance, and daily customer service needs, such as billing inquiries, change requests, and coverage inquiries.

Applicant must hold a current P&C license and have 3+ years of Commercial Account Management Experience. Applicant must have strong technical skills with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook and experience with internal Agency Management Systems. Medicare Division Manager/Agent

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years Medicare sales experience
  • Must be L/H licensed and certified to sell all Medicare Health and PDP products sold through brokers

Job Description:

  • Oversee day to day operations of the Bowen Agency Medicare Division as well as grow the existing Medicare division through agent recruitment and developing additional markets not only in Connecticut but expanding to other states.
  • During AEP will meet with clients to review current plans and write new policies.
  • Must be able to train and mentor newer agents.
  • Part of the outreach would be giving product specific and “Medicare 101” seminars.
